Supreme Court ceremonies
welcome new lawyers
TBA President Marcy Eason welcomed more than 200 new lawyers to the practice of law during ceremonies today (Nov. 19) in Nashville. The Tennessee Bar Association hosted many of the new attorneys and their families at an Open House luncheon after the swearing in. Ceremonies were also held last week in Memphis and Jackson, and tomorrow they will be in Chattanooga and Knoxville.



Nashville attorney Riney Green introduces John K. Lines to the court. Lines, who has previously been admitted in Ohio and Illinois, is general counsel and senior vice president at Murfreesboro-based National Healthcare Corporation.


Nashville attorney Gail Ashworth introduces Brian Manookian (left) and Alan Bean to the court. Both are recent Vanderbilt University Law School graduates.


Nashville attorney Jeff Hill introduces Anne Dodd to the court.


Nashville attorney Michele Johnson introduces Chris Yerian to the court.
