Tennessee bar leaders at ABA Bar Leaders Institute
TBA Vice President George T. “Buck” Lewis (center) recently joined other emerging leaders at the American Bar Association’s Bar Leader Institute in Chicago. Lewis, a shareholder at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz in Memphis, met with ABA President Karen J. Mathis of Denver (left) and ABA President-Elect William H. Neukom (right) of Seattle (right), and took part in sessions on bar governance, finance, communications and planning.
Several other Tennessee bar leaders also attended the ABA's Bar Leader Institute, including (from left) TBA Executive Director Allan Ramsaur, Mathis, Lewis, Malinda Lewis, Knoxville Bar Association President-elect Adrienne L. Anderson, Nashville Bar Association President-elect W. Scott Sims, Nashville Bar Association Executive Director Susan Sowards and Neukom.
